.R&D Engineer Software (CAD / PLM Engr)

 

 

PLM & CAD/IT Engineering Services Engineer  (R&D Software Engineer – 책임 연구원급 / 경력 최소 4~5년 이상)

Wireless Semiconductor Divison (WSD)      Seoul, South Korea

 

General Skills Required:

• RF design and CAD support experience with RF/Microwave/Digital tools

• Admin and/or user experience with database applications such as PLM & MES

• System and Storage Administration experience

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Korean

 

 

Detailed Job Description:

 

• AgilePLM v9.x Support

o Assist with Agile PLM training and provide desk-side support for users and vendors

o Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Materials), basic configuration management concepts such as document & product hierarchy, part number systems, change orders, and overall leading practices for engineering product record and project management used in high tech environments, preferably semiconductor

• CAD Tool Administration and Support-

o Provide support to R&D and NPI teams on IC and PCB RF/mWave design tools and flows

o Train users in Seoul on CAD tool usage and provide ongoing assistance

o Develop scripts to enhance CAD environment by automating engineering tasks

• IT- System Administration

o HW & SW installation and configuration of systems running Red Hat LINUX, Windows XP, Windows 7, WindowsServer 2003/2008.

o Configuration of NetApp Filers running DOT 7x

o Installation and configuration of Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL databases and apps

 

 

Education and Skills Required:

 

• MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• 5+ years RF CAD tool experience with Agilent ADS, Cadence ADE and SiP(Allegro/APD), and Ansys(Ansoft)HFSS

• Experience with PLM, preferably Agile PLM 9.x

• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL database applications and administration

• Oracle EBS/ERP, Oracle PLM and MES knowledge preferred

• System Administration skills on Windows and LINUX operating systems

• Programming experience with Perl, Java, JavaScript, Cadence Skill and Shell

• High proficiency in MS Office Tools such as Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Positive attitude, desire to learn and contribute in a fast paced and growing global team

• Team player; service oriented individual:

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English(Mandatory)

o Self starter acumen

o Strong focus on work accuracy and completeness

o Positive attitude, team player, willing to interact and assist others.

• Travel- 15% travel required

o To attend training in the US on Agile PLM and CAD software tools

o To participate in face-to-face learning with US CAD team

Example Typical Tasks:

§ Learn Agile PLM and WSD RF Design Flows

§ Provide desk side assistance on Agile PLM and various CAD tools

§ Conduct Agile PLM skills training classes for users and suppliers

§ Work with business teams to validate PLM configuration changes

§ Work with CAD Team and Avago IT to debug and resolve all CAD & PLM issues 

§ Assist with general IT issues faced by Seoul R&D team

§ Configure volumes and shares, including Windows security settings in NetApp filers.

§ Install & configure Linux/Windows on servers and workstations per WSD CAD guidelines

 

 

2.  R&D Hardware Engineer

 

 

-휴대폰용 Power Amplifier 개발 (카이스트 포항공대 연/고대 출신 석사 이상 신입 혹은 경력 우대)

– RF IC Designer : GaAs HBT/HEMT, CMOS 
– Module Engineer
– RF전공자, RF관련 경력자.
– ADS, HFSS 사용 가능자 우대함
– Fluent in English communication 

– 중계기 혹은 기지국 PA 개발자도 지원 가능

 

 

 

3.   FBAR DPX & Module 개발

. Filter/DPX/Module 개발
. 전공: RF 관련학과 전공자
. 경력: RF관련 Passive Design ( 실무설계경력 3년 이상, Filter/Duplexer 경력자 우대)
. Software: ADS, HFSS 사용 가능자
. 경력(수행한 project)을 중심으로 국문 경력 기술서 작성
