The two soaring birds embody the ambition of POSTECH which has grown to be Asia’s top research-oriented university during the past quarter century to make a new leap towards the world’s best university.
The bird in POSTECH red symbolizes POSTECH, while the other in gray represents reason and intellect for state-of-the-art science and technology. Dark blue color applied to the number 25 represents the will and enthusiasm of POSTECH members.
POSTECH 20th Anniversary Emblem
Welcoming the 20th anniversary, this emblem signifies the cradle of state-of-the-art science education, reaching out to the world to realize “POSTECH VISION 2020,” aimed at becoming a world-class research-oriented university by 2020.
The application of blue to the number 20 represents the image and youthfulness of a 20-year-old and the font in POSTECH red, the emblem as a whole expresses the will to realize being in the top 20 of the world’s research-oriented universities.
